Yann, 25, has turned in powerful shift after shift this season, either in tandem with David in a central midfield role, or partnering Sonny Bradley or Nauris Bulvitis in the middle of the defence.
“Yann’s been brilliant,” said Foxy. “He’s been one of our most consistent performers, and he’s played in a couple of positions, which is great for the team.
“He’s great to play alongside and he sacrifices a lot of his game for the team – a lot of the time, he’ll be doing the dirty stuff that no-one really notices – but he’s very effective in what he does.
“He’s never injured; he rarely misses a game; he doesn’t miss training. He is the sort of player that you build teams around.
“He maybe goes unnoticed in some aspects, but certainly not by the boys.”
