TRAINING DAY
THE Plymouth Argyle Football in the Community department held their annual training day at Home Park on Sunday.
Over twenty dedicated coaches attended an in-service training day to ensure that all of the coaches were up to date and are able to offer help and advice when on duty in the community.
The productive day allowed the community team to build up awareness of our football development philosophy and ensure that the coaches maintain their quality for all of our football courses.

Scheme Manager Mark Rivers delivered a number of coaching sessions that will be used within the coaching syllabus.
Disability Officer Graham Eyles brought players from his squad to participate within a training sessions and to allow the coaches the opportunity to see their session in motion.

The day also gave the team the opportunity to meet new and familiar coaches from Devon and Cornwall.
Mark Rivers said: "The training day is crucial to the community to ensure the correct practical sessions are being carried out and also the correct procedures are carried out in a professional manner.
"The coaches are vital to our club and community and it is important we educate them for the benefit of the scheme.
"I would also like to thank everybody who attended for their time and work and also to the disability team for their contribution."
