ARGYLE'S Football in the Community Trust in Cornwall achieved record numbers for their Easter courses.
A total of 426 children attended the nine courses run over the holiday period, culminating in 96 children for the final two-day course at Wadebridge.
Blessed with great weather at most of the locations for the nine days, the youngsters were put through their paces in skill sections, competition areas and the Ponsmere Hotel World Cup Trophy small-sided games.
All children taking part qualified for a match ticket to watch Argyle play Peterborough in the final match of the season and many lucky individuals also won pairs of match tickets to watch the Newcastle game at Home Park.
Each venue saw a player of the day selected as well as individual competition winners who all won prizes and tickets, plus many other kids also winning spot prizes.
Planning is under way for the Cornwall FITC Whitsun soccer schools and the Summer locations, so keep checking the website for details.
