ARGYLE'S Football in the Community Trust are now recruiting for their highly successful Education and Development Programme and will be holding an open evening at Home Park on Thursday, January 19.
We are looking for young players of school leaving age, male or female, with a passion to play football at a high level, to take academic studies under the guidance of Plymouth Argyle whilst at the same time honing their footballing talents.
The programme sees 16-18 years olds participate in a number of academic studies alongside football coaching and a games programme run by Argyle coaches.

It does not stop players training or playing for their local teams. In fact, we encourage this and would like players to stay within local football.
The programme would not affect your games or training programme as the course is an academic course and runs during term time.
For players who are currently studying in Year 11, the evening will give an insight into the course and opportunity to see course programme and content.
The open evening will take place in the Board room from 6pm for girls and 7pm for boys.
Ambassador for the programme Darren Purse will also be in attendance to discuss the importance of the programme and the impacts it can make.
If you would like to attend this open evening please contact Mark Lovell on 01752 562561, option four or e-mail mark.lovell@pafc.co.uk
