THE week just got a lot more colourful for Argyle fans.

The Green Army can now enjoy 'Green Thursday' after the Pilgrims teamed up with Vue Cinema to create an Oscar-winning deal for Argyle members.

'Green Thursdays', which launches today [August 28], offers loyal season-ticket holders and White and Pilgrim members unique credit-crunch busting discounts of up to 25% to see films at Vue Cinema each Thursday.

Argyle captain Karl Duguid and forward Steve MacLean popped along to Vue to check out the deal earlier this week, and were greeted by a Star Wars Clone Trooper.

Every Argyle member qualifies for the discount on production of a current valid membership card, and they can take along a guest at the discounted price, too.

"We're delighted to join with Vue to offer added value to being an Argyle member," said the Pilgrims' Head of Sales & Marketing Steve Davies.

"This recognises the loyalty of our fans, and shows that membership has considerable benefits away from Home Park, as well as at the club.

"I anticipate that this will be just the first of many such partnerships we can enter into with Westcountry businesses that will reward our fans.

"We will be aiming to paint the city green every Thursday."
Adults have a £1.50 reduction off Vue prices, whilst child, teen, student or senior benefit from 75p reduction.

Usual restrictions on age apply with regard to the certification of films. No under 12s are allowed in without an adult after 7pm, and no under 18s will be admitted after 10.30pm.

Prices

Before 5pm: adult £4.40, child £4.20, teen £4.20, student/senior £4.20.

After 5pm: adult £5.40, child £4.30, teen £4.55, student/senior £4.45.
