FRENCH midfielder Lilian Nalis has great hopes for Argyle this season.
Our Championship campaign begins with the long trip to Hull on Saturday and Lil is confident we can make a positive start.
He said: "We have great hopes. We have been working hard all pre-season and now we are really up for it.
"If you want to have a great season, you need to start well. We need some points right from the start but we know it is going to be a tough game.
"They [Hull] have spent some money. We are going to try and match them and beat them."
At the tender age of 35, Lil knows he may not have too many season left in professional football but he is certainly determined to enjoy every moment of this season.
He said: "We should never make excuses. It was absolutely fantastic what we achieved last season. We have to try and repeat that and learn from the mistakes that cost us points.
"Since I have been here, it has been great fun. Great fun on the pitch and in the dressing rooms. We have had some great moments.
"As a player, you want to carry on living it and I am living the dream at my age. I just want to enjoy myself with all the lads.
"I want to share it with all the fans and the city, and make people feel that the club is going forward."
