TC OK BY ME - OLLIE

Posted on: Sat 15 Sep 2007

ARGYLE manager Ian Holloway was disappointed with the sections of the Argyle support that jeered ex-Pilgrim Tony Capaldi in Saturday's match against Cardiff City.

Capaldi made his first return to Home Park since his summer Bosman free-transfer to Cardiff and suffered abuse throughout the game.

Ollie said "I tried to alleviate that during the week.

"If they think he's a traitor because he's left, I would strongly suggest 'have a think about it' - the rules should be the one's you have a go at.

"I was very proud of how he played for Plymouth Argyle.

"He's played fantastically well for us but advantage of a loop hole to look after his family.

"I would like to go on record and thank him from all the Argyle fans who actually watched him play and saw their team go up two divisions while he was playing for them."
