HEADS UP FOR ENGLAND AGAIN

Posted on: Fri 07 Mar 2008

ARGYLE'S 16-year-old schoolboy striker, Liam Head, has been recalled by England Under-16 manager Kenny Swain for the national junior team's squad for this month's Montaigu Tournament in France.

Liam, a pupil of South Dartmoor Community College, Ashburton, was involved in all three of the England U16 games in their victorious campaign in the Sky Sports Victory Shield tournament in the autumn - as an unused substitute in the opening game against Northern Ireland, making his debut against Wales and playing for the first hour against Scotland - but was only placed on standby duty for last month's 2-1 friendly defeat against Holland.
