CONCERT TICKETS
WE have been overwhelmed by the demand for tickets to see Meat Loaf and Westlife in the Live and Kicking Concerts at Home Park.
There should, however, be enough tickets for both the standing and seating area, and would urge people not to panic.
An Argyle spokesman said: "We appreciated that, when tickets for both Live and Kicking at Home Park concerts went on sale, there would be huge initial demand.
"That is why we gave people a number of purchasing options - in person at Home Park Box Office; by phone from the Home Park Box Office; and online through Ticketmaster.
"Unfortunately, Ticketmaster suffered from some unforeseen technical problems, which meant it was not possible to buy tickets through them first thing this morning.
"This, of course, placed extra pressure on the Box Office at Home Park, not least on the phone lines.
"Ticketmaster have now resolved the difficulty and they are selling tickets from their website, www.ticketmaster.com. Standing tickets have been available since noon, and seating and Golden Circle tickets will come online later in the day.
"We have sold out of our Golden Circle allocation but, because of the technical difficulties, Ticketmaster's Golden Circle tickets are still due to come online during the afternoon.
"We, of course, apologise for any inconvenience and thank everyone for their patience."
