PETER AND KNEE

Posted on: Tue 15 Apr 2008

PAUL Sturrock will mull over whether to send Péter Halmosi for an exploratory operation.

The Hungarian international midfielder returned after a knee injury to score Argyle's early goal in their 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday on Monday.

After the game, Luggy said: "He's a top player and we have got to make sure that knee of his is totally fine. We have got to decide whether to kick on or go in and have a wee look.

"He was important for this game; we needed him and he came up with the goods."

Péter was substituted after an hour and Luggy said: "His legs had gone.

"He hasn't trained for two and half weeks and I felt he was getting a wee bit weary and didn't want to push him too much. We want him to be able to play next Saturday."
