HAVE A WORD

Posted on: Fri 25 Apr 2008

ARGYLE manager Paul Sturrock has opened transfer discussions with loan duo Russell Anderson from Sunderland and Derby's Gary Teale.

The Scottish internationals joined the Pilgrims on loan back in February and Luggy is keen to know their thoughts on a possible permanent move to Home Park.

"I have had a word with Anderson and Teale to see their thoughts on the scenario," said Luggy.

"I am going to talk to their agents in the next couple of days and talk to their football clubs, and see what kind of fees and wage structure we would be paying.

"Like anything in this day and age, finance will dictate my thoughts on the scenario, and that is why I am taking my time with the budget."
