GET WELL KRIS
LIKE all Argyle fans, Pilgrims' manager Paul Sturrock was waiting on news of captain Krisztián Timár after the Greens final-day defeat at Wolves.
Kris was taken to Wolverhampton's New Cross hospital after cracking heads with Wanderers' left-back George Elokobi during the second half of the 1-0 defeat.
Wolves won the game through Seyi Olofinjana's 85th-minute strike after Kris had been stretchered off and, after the game, Luggy said: "We don't know how serious it is. He's been rushed to hospital. It doesn't look good."
Kris had been escorted to hospital by non-playing compatriot Péter Halmosi and kit-man Ian Pearce, and the team coach took a detour via the hospital on the way back to Plymouth.
Early indications were that the Hungarian centre-back faces a long lay-off but Luggy said: "It would be very unprofessional for me to try to guess what it is. We'll wait to see what the doctors, the specialists come back with."
The Argyle manager declined to place any blame for the injury on Elokobi, who came to the Argyle dressing-room after the game to request Kris's mobile phone number.
"It looked like [an accident] to me, to be fair," he said. "It looked as though [Kris] headed the back of the Wolves' player's head. I think that's what happened.
"[Kris] was a wee bit agitated and suffering from something."
Luggy also refused to blame the subsequent reshuffle to his defence, which saw Mat Kouo-Doumbe move from right-back to centre-back and Jimmy Abdou drop back from midfield, for Wolves' winner.
"A certain player was told to do a certain job on the boy who scored and another player told him he would take [Olofinjana] as he came forward; he didn't take him, and [Olofinjana] finishes up right down the middle.
"We had handled his runs most of the game. It just shows when a lack of communication or a misunderstanding occurs."
