ARGYLE fans can back their boys for Championship glory this season after the club teamed up with the world's biggest bookmaker.
Ladbrokes, who have eight shops in the Plymouth area, will be offering betting from five booths inside Home Park at every home game this season, starting with the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
The firm will employ ten people at the stadium to take bets on the outcome of matches, first goalscorer, the correct score, and a whole host of other wagers available in their retail estate.
Ladbrokes area manager Jane Hutchinson said: 'We're delighted to join up with a great club like Argyle and are confident fans will enjoy the service we'll be providing at Home Park.
'We wish both the fans and the club great success for the season ahead, even if it ends up costing us a few quid!'
Argyle's Head of Sales & Marketing, Steve Davies, said: 'Ladbrokes will be a very popular addition to the pre-match entertainment we provide at Home Park and we believe it will go down well among supporters.'
Paul Sturrock's men are 50-1 to win the Championship and 14-1 to secure promotion to the Premier league, with strikers Jermaine Easter, Steve MacLean and Rory Fallon 80-1, 100-1 and 100-1 respectively to finish as the season's top goalscorer.
Ladbrokes make them 9-2 to be the top Westcountry and Welsh side in the division in a market which includes Bristol City, Cardiff City and Swansea City. They are also 11-8 to take revenge against Wolves after their final-day defeat last season.
The firm now bet at 41 football grounds throughout England and Scotland, have a 2,500 strong retail estate and take bets from over 220 countries in 18 different languages and 12 different currencies.
