ARGYLE manager Paul Sturrock will spend the night making a decision on whether or not to make an offer for Denes Rosa and/or Nicky Law.

The pair featured as trialists in Argyle's 3-0 Football Combination win over Exeter City and Luggy was pleased with their team ethic.

He will now decide if the two midfielders, Rosa (Wolves) and Law (Sheffield United), could play a part in his Green revolution.

Luggy said: "I will now think about it overnight, meet the two of them tomorrow and make a decision - [it will be] yes or no, there is no time now to mess about.

"They did ok but then they tired very quickly, which shows their lack of match-fitness and lack of competitive games early in the season.

"He [Rosa] looks an accomplished player and I think he made the two passes for the first two goals. He can see a pass and I have to judge whether a real hard training regime would get him up to speed.

"It is hard for these boys to come in and play a new system, which they have only worked on this morning. All of a sudden, you have to be the linchpin of the team.

"It is a team game as well as an individual one, and it can be very difficult to amalgamate the two. I was very pleased that neither of them individualised - they worked very hard for the team. They were part of the team unit, which I liked."

The pair could solve a real transfer headache for Luggy as he tries to secure more targets ahead of Monday's transfer window closure.

"We are working tirelessly," he said. "It was all done this morning and yesterday afternoon was three hours on the phone to all sorts of people.

"It is ongoing and I sure it will be one of those rushed affairs at the end to try and get the people in we want."

There were plenty of positives coming out of the win over Exeter, but young winger Craig Noone undoubtedly stole the show on his first Home Park appearance.

The sprightly youngster showed some great touches and capped his performance with an excellent third goal to add to earlier strikes from Jermaine Easter and Yala Bolasie.

Luggy said: "It was a good, competitive game played with an edge and I was very pleased with the whole approach.

"I am very pleased [with Noone]. He showed a wee devil in him; definitely Scottish blood in him.

"You can see the boy can play. It is the strength feature he is going to have to work on.

"Krisztián Timár showed that zest and sharpness coming back, and I was pleased with him.

"I tried Craig Cathcart in another position and Yoann Folly came to the show as well for the spell he was on.

"It was a good game and nobody let themselves down in any form, and that what I was looking for today.

"There were performances to put question marks in my mind for Saturday [when Argyle visit Burnley in the Championship].
