PAUL Gallagher scored the goals, but fellow forward Rory Fallon shared the manager's appreciation after the Pilgrims 2-1 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

However, the manager's praise was tempered by his concerns for Rory's consistency.

"The real Rory is here at this moment in time - long may the Rory be here," he said.

"Now and then, Rory just disappears and becomes a ghost. The ghost is not here at this minute - the full-bodied Rory is here and he's working his tail off, he's winning the aerial battles, he's holding the ball up for us, and he's doing all the things we want.

"He's just about shaping his game. He's dossed around in the lower leagues for a long time now, and I think he's now beginning to appreciate what he can achieve.

"I'm very hopeful that that Rory stays with us for a lot longer."
