WEATHER HINDERS SEARCH

Posted on: Thu 08 Jan 2009

THE cold snap has hit Argyle manager Paul Sturrock's plans to watch potential transfer targets.

Luggy was scheduled to watch a number of games this week but frozen pitches all over the country have damaged his plans.

He is, however, still hopeful of bringing in a couple of trialists over the next couple of weeks.

"It is all ongoing and we are hoping some people in next week to have a look at," he said. "I am hoping that one or two, who are under contract with other clubs, will come into our training environment.

"There are reserve games and first-team games I was going to watch this week but they have all been cancelled because of the weather situation.

"It is very unfortunate because I wouldn't have been here on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of this week, but that hasn't been available to me. It is very frustrating."
