ARGYLE players Emile Mpenza and Krisztián Timár have both been called-up by their respective countries for their up-coming friendlies during the international fixture window next month.
Mpenza has been called-up to the Belgium squad to face Slovenia in a friendly at the King Bauouin Stadium, Brussels.
The striker, who already has 52 caps to his name, has found first-team opportunities hard to come by of late, succumbing to injury and finding himself hampered by the form of fellow hit-man Rory Fallon.
Timár meanwhile, has been called into the Hungarian squad to face Israel in a friendly to be hosted in Tel Aviv.
Hungary manager Erwin Koeman was present at Tuesday night's defeat to Bristol City and although Timár only managed to play 27 minutes, Koeman was obviously pleased with what he saw.
Should the defender be picked to play, he will earn his third cap for his country.
Both matches are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, February 11.
