DAVID Gray was selected for the Scotland under-21 training camp between February 8-11, and then promptly withdrawn.

Gray is currently on loan at Argyle from Manchester United but he has missed the last two games through injury.

It is an injury that the Manchester United medical team decided was enough to prevent him from joining up with the Scotland squad.

The young defender burst onto the Green scene with a hugely impressive debut for the Pilgrims in the FA Cup defeat to Arsenal but picked up an ankle knock in the following game at Nottingham Forest.
