JERMAINE Easter is determined to make amends for the mistake he made in asking to leave Argyle in August.
The Welsh striker was set to leave Home Park less than a year into his Green career but a period of reflection has dramatically changed his view.
Easter injured his knee in December while on loan with Colchester in December and the time away from Argyle, along with ten weeks on the treatment table, has been a career-chainging time for the former Wycombe forward.
"I made a mistake by asking to leave the football club," he said.
"Everyone makes mistakes and I just want to put the mistakes I have made right."
Easter's long journey back into manager Paul Sturrock's thoughts should be complete when he plays for Argyle's reserves against Swansea tomorrow.
Physio Paul Maxwell has been delighted with the hard work and commitment Easter has shown in regaining his fitness, and the Welshman has even allowed himself to dream of involvement in the crucial Championship clash at Wolves on Saturday.
"I've spoken to Maxi and the manager and I will probably 60 or 70 minutes in the rserve game, which will be great for my fitness," he said.
"I just want to get back into it now. I have wasted too much time this season.
"I am playing the game tomorrow and it is then down to the manager, and what he wants to do."
