ARGYLE'S second string ran out convincing 3-0 winners over their Forest Green Rovers counterparts in an entertaining encounter at the New Lawn.

First-half goals from Steve MacLean and Dan Smith sent Argyle in two up at the break before Luke Summerfield fired home direct from a freekick midway through the second half to clinch the points.

Striker Jermaine Easter and midfielder Yoann Folly both played the full 90 minutes as they fight their way back from their respective injuries.
