TOMORROW'S massive game at Norwich City may have arrived a fraction too soon for recovering injury victims Jermaine Easter and David McNamee.

The return to reserve-team football in Monday's draw at Forest Green was a huge achievement for McNamee, who sustained a fractured cheekbone just six weeks ago.

Manager Paul Sturrock believes, however, that the Carrow Road trip is possibly too much to ask of the Scottish right-back, and the same applies to Easter, who has not played first-team football since December because of a knee injury.

"It is an awful lot to ask of Easter and McNamee," said Luggy.

"Easter is probably nearer to it than McNamee but I haven't made my mind up yet.

"McNamee needed a game and I would not put him in a position where he would struggle. We have two reserve games next week as well.

"Easter is getting sharper but he has not had that much football.

"At the start of the season, he had other things on his mind and finished up going on loan to a couple of places. He then got the injury.

"He is bursting to be involved and his enthusiasm might be a benefit to us, but I have to weigh up what is best for the team."
