ON-LOAN defender Craig Cathcart has been called up to the Northern Ireland U21 squad for their friendly fixture with Ukraine later this month.

The Manchester United youngster, who has made 29 appearances for Argyle so far this term, will win his eighth cap for his country since his first call up as a 17 year old in 2006.

The match will take place at Shamrock Park, the home of Portadown FC on Tuesday, March 31 at 7.30pm.
