ARGYLE manager Paul Sturrock has stated he would never hesitate in signing players he believes could become the future 'lifeblood' of the club.
Luggy has cast his attention in recent weeks towards securing the services of Luke Summerfield and Ashley Barnes for next season but has not ruled out locking in the future of several younger players.
Amongst those on the Scotsman's radar is defender Damien McCrory, who has recently returned from an educational spell with Port Vale.
"I will always sign potential," said Luggy.
"Luke and Ashley are still in negotiations as well as [Lloyd] Saxon, McCrory and [Dan] Smith.
"[They] are three that will be out of contract so we are in discussion with a few of them to see what the story is over the next couple of weeks.
"They will be the lifeblood of the team eventually, like the boy McCrory, who played 14 games for Port Vale and has come back here a different person.
"He has played more league games than some of the other ones and has shown he can handle it so that's potential to me.
"I'm quite excited about that."
