ARGYLE manager Paul Sturrock has told his players they must be fully focused ahead of their fixture at Blackpool on Saturday.
The Pilgrims are currently 21st in the Championship table after succumbing to three consecutive defeats and are flirting with danger only two points above the relegation zone.
Prior to this, the Greens were undefeated in four outings, including a 1-0 victory at table-toppers Wolves, and Luggy admits a return to winning ways at Bloomfield Road may well depend on the mental approach to the clash.
"Our standards against the teams in the same area as us has been shocking and it's been down to our mental approach," said Luggy.
"The mentality of holding on to what we've got has cost us dearly against these teams.
"We've got to go there and win, so we've worked very hard to take that out of the psyche of the players.
"Winning is habit-forming, but so is losing, and we went through that.
"I hope we've got to the psyche of the players and are appreciative when we go out there and try and win this game.
"We've got to be on the front-foot straight away. The first-goal will be a key factor to the game."
