YOUNG Irishman Damien McCrory has agreed a new one-year deal with the club.
McCrory, who can play at left-back or left-wing, had a successful loan spell at Port Vale earlier in the season.
Having risen through the ranks at Home Park, McCrory signed his first professional contract in July 2008 after impressing in the Young Pilgrim's FA Youth Cup run.
He was included in the club's pre-season tour of Austria and came off the bench to equalise in the 1-1 draw with German side Gruether Furth.
Damien also has caps at international level, having represented the Republic of Ireland at U18 and U19 level.
Argyle manager Paul Sturrock was pleased to capture McCrory's signature for another year.
He said: "Damien went out on loan last season and he did very, very well.
"He played at left back and wide left and won rave reviews.
"That shows the benefit of putting players out on loan. He's now got another year to show me that he merits being given a further opportunity."
