JERMAINE Easter has joined Milton Keynes Dons.

The striker, who had been at Home Park for nearly two years, moves to the League One side for an undisclosed fee.

Jermaine told MK Dons' website: "It feels great to be here; when you get the feeling for somewhere, like I have here, it's really exciting.

"I remember watching Paul Ince's Manchester United team as a kid and I really looked up to him so I can't wait to start working with him.

"I've come here for promotion, it's as simple as that. That's what we should be targeting as a team and I'll be giving my all to help the team achieve that."

Welsh international Easter, 27, was signed by Ian Holloway, initially on loan, from Wycombe Wanderers in the autumn of 2007.

Ironically, one of the Greens competitors for his signature had been Swindon Town, when they were managed by Paul Sturrock - who became Argyle chief soon after Jermaine's move.

Jermaine made his debut for the club in October 28, 2007, in a 2-0 defeat to Preston North End and scored his first goal for the Greens after coming on as a substitute in the 2-1 loss at home to West Bromwich Albion, Luggy's first game in charge.

He went on to net five more goals that season whilst maintaining his reputation as an international striker by winning Wales caps for matches against the Republic of Ireland and Germany.

Last season was a frustrating one for Jermaine, who, after starting in Argyle's opening match with Wolves, failed to maintain his place.

He later joined Millwall on a one-month loan and made his debut for the club on September 28, scoring a goal in a 2-1 win away to Swindon, in which he was also sent off.

After returning to Argyle, he later joined Colchester United on loan until the end of 2008 where unfortunately, he suffered a medial ligament injury, keeping him out for the rest of the season.
