SIMON Walton is having a week-long trial at Scunthorpe United.

The midfielder has not featured for us so far this season and the potential move to Glanford Park represents an opportunity for him to get his career back on track.

Walton joined us from QPR last summer but struggled to maintain a regular starting place, and he ended the campaign on loan at Blackpool.
