ARGYLE midfielder Luke Summerfield has joined Leyton Orent in a one-month loan deal.
Summers has made four appearances this season and scored in the Carling Cup defeat to Gillingham, but manager Paul Sturrock is keen for the youngster to earn as much first-team football as possible.
"I am pleased for him to get games," said Luggy.
"The thing about Luke is that Duguid, Fletcher and Paterson have all had strong starts to the season.
"I felt Luke was on the periphery and I saw Orient play a couple of weeks ago, and they looked a decent footballing team who will suit Luke's style of play.
"Those kind of games will be far more valuable than reserve games. He will be tested in that division."
Leyton Orient have endured a difficult start to their League One season and, with a lengthening injury list at Brisbane Road, Luke will be looking to help the O's climb out of the relegation zone.
Luke last went out on loan in 2007, when he made eight appearances for Bournemouth.
