RORY Fallon has been accused of inconsistency by manager Paul Sturrock in the past.
It is a tag the Kiwi resents, and he certainly showed his best side with a superb display of forward-play in the 2-1 win over Peterborough United.
He created the first goal of the night for strike-partner Jamie Mackie and then capped a terrific performance with a well-placed header of his own.
"Rory has had an inconsistency to him over the piece," said Luggy.
"Everybody that knows Rory would look at him and say, on tonight's performance, he could play much higher. He disagrees with this but there is another Rory.
"I was pleased with his whole attitude to the game tonight. He did all the things the right when we had the ball and when we didn't have the ball."
Mackie also deserved his goal after another night of honest endeavour from Mr Enthusiasm.
Luggy said: "Jamie would be the first to admit that he could be a £3m player with some of the chances he's created and not taken. Tonight, he's done the right things, worked his tail off and got his just rewards."
