THE two-week international break came at the wrong time for manager Paul Sturrock.
After a difficult start to the season, we finally secured the first win of the season at Peterborough, and quickly followed that with a home success against Scunthorpe.
Luggy was naturally disappointed to have that momentum interrupted but he has been heartened by the sharpness on the training ground in the last few days, as we build up to Saturday's trip to Blackpool.
"It would have been nice to have continuity," he said.
"After getting ourselves back on the rails, it would have been nice to kick-on, but that's been taken away from us. To be fair, it's the same for everyone.
"It has been a frustration. It is amazing when you haven't got a game on the Saturday. The edge goes out of training and it is very difficult to whip people into shape when they know they have no game.
"I always find the first week frustrating but this week there has been an edge to the boys, and I've been very pleased."
