VIDLER was a bustling forward who would unsettle defenders with his belligerence and determination.

He joined Argyle from the Army and immediately started banging in the goals. Vidler enjoyed ten successful years at Home Park and then signed for Bristol City before the outbreak of World War II brought his career to a premature end.
