ABDUCTED BY ALIENS

YOANN Folly's astonishing return to form has been a massive bonus to Argyle manager Paul Sturrock.

Folly was a shock starter in the October win at Middlesbrough after eight months without a first-team appearance.

He has played in the subsequent two games and Luggy feels that the virus he suffered from at the start of his Argyle career obviously proved a bigger hindrance than first thought.

"In the last four or five games he has been the Yoann Folly I knew was in that body," said Luggy. "I think aliens abducted him earlier on in his career and we didn't get the real Yoann.

"We don't know how much the virus took out of him. It probably took a much bigger toll than we thought and it wasn't a true Yoann Folly we were seeing.

"All of a sudden he came out like a spring hare a few weeks ago and looked to have an appetite back. He was even talking on the training ground.

"He has won a couple of man of the match awards and done really well. We didn't have that kind of zest and enthusiasm.

"He is a very simple type of player but very effective for the team."
