BACK TO BLAKE

Posted on: Fri 27 Nov 2009

DARCY Blake is in line for a return to the Argyle squad for tomorrow's visit of Barnsley after a three-match suspension.

The Welsh defender, on loan from Cardiff City, was harshly dismissed in the October draw with Ipswich Town.

Manager Paul Sturrock has been delighted with Blake's impact at Home Park and would be happy to extend the loan deal beyond the original three-month agreement.

"Darcy Blake is back this week and he comes into consideration," said Luggy.

"He has played in some of the games that we've won and the sending-off was a bit harsh, but he's really enjoying his football here.

"I will be looking to clarify with the managers [of our loan players] in the next day or two. If I get a positive reaction from all of them, he would definitely be one that we would be interested in keeping."
