ARGYLE manager Paul Sturrock will have to make at least one change to his defence for Saturday's visit to Preston, maybe two.
Australian centre-back Shane Lowry was dismissed towards the end of Tuesday's 1-0 defeat at Swansea after receiving a second yellow card, and will now serve an immediate one-match ban..
Right-back David Gray had to be substituted early in the second half with a hamstring strain, after the Pilgrims had already lost midfielder Yoann Folly to an ankle injury.
"Yoann got a kick on the bone," said Luggy. "It upset us. We had to change very, very early.
"We probably shouldn't have sent out David Gray for the second half, but the boy wanted to give it a try. He's tweaked his hammy.
"It's not ideal that you have to put subs on for injuries. It means you can't change the game with substitutions."
All Luggy would say about Lowry's dismissal was "I hope he will learn from it", and he now has to consider how to plug that central defensive gap at Deepdale, as well as any other changes.
"Réda will have to come into consideration," he said. "You can't come here [to Swansea] and then travel a distance up to Preston and not think about fresh legs, especially in the boggy conditions we've played on the last two Saturdays.
"Saturday will be a very physical game, as well."
