MACKIE'S ALL MINE

Posted on: Wed 09 Dec 2009

IT will take "an extraordinary amount of money" to persuade the Pilgrims to part company with leading scorer Jamie Mackie in next month's transfer-window.

Jamie, who returned to colours after suspension in Tuesday's 1-0 defeat at Swansea, has been the subject of recent transfer speculation.

However, Luggy said: "We very much want to keep Jamie.

"Jamie's been an influence in the team over the last dozen games.

"He started the season creating an awful lot of chances, but not taking them. Now, he's had a wee purple patch and he does influence games.

"We can't afford to lose those types of players, so it would take an extraordinary amount of money to be thinking about any moves for Jamie."
