ARGYLE youngsters were outdone by their more experienced visitors in the oft-delayed FA Youth Alliance Cup tie at Bolitho Park on Friday night.
Goals by John Marquis either side of the interval saw Millwall progress into the second round of the competition as the much-postponed game was finally played at the fifth time of asking.

A goal had been threatened for some time before Marquis opened the scoring on the half-hour, and only some fine defending by Jordan Trott and Curtis Nelson, and good goalkeeping from Ollie Chenoweth, kept the Pilgrims in the game up to the interval.
They had more of the game in the second period, but Millwall took control of the tie in the 55th minute, when Chenoweth's poor clearnace led to Marquis netting his second.
