ARGYLE Groundsman Colin Wheatcroft has confirmed that tonight's game with Derby County is definitely on.

Colin and his team have worked through the weekend to prepare the pitch after excess water forced the postponement of Saturday's clash with Barnsley.

"The game is definitely on," he said. "We have worked all through the weekend and we've actually forked three-quarters of the pitch manually, which is a horrific job.

"It has dried out substantially and I think it will play quite well tonight. We're not going to get a perfect surface until the spring. We've got several weeks of this sort of pitch."
