UNBELIEVABLE MOVEMENT

Posted on: Fri 29 Jan 2010

PAUL Mariner is delighted with the progress of his players from set-pieces.

Although the delivery was occasionally lacking in Tuesday's win over Derby County, Argyle's Head Coach revelled in the movement of his players.

It is an area he will continue to work on ahead of Saturday's trip to Sheffield Wednesday.

"As a coach, you always want the service to be perfect, but it's not easy," he said.

"In defence of the players, it is very hard to keep your footing on this surface and the run-ups at this ground are not the easiest, but I don't want to make excuses.

"Our movement at set-pieces is unbelievable. We're a very difficult team to deal with, so we'll keep working on it and adding to it."
