ARGYLE striker Jamie Mackie's sensational strike against Reading last March has been nominated for the Mitre Goal of the Year 2009.
Mackie picked up the ball just outside of the centre circle, strode purposefully towards goal, before unleashing a thunderous 35 yard drive past the hapless Adam Federici and into the top left-hand corner in the Pilgrims' 2-2 draw in March 2009.
The Football League have teamed up with Soccer AM to give viewers the chance to vote for their choice of the best Football League goal of 2009.
