ARGYLE head coach Paul Mariner believes three months in the hot-seat has not changed him.
After an international playing career, Mariner has vast experience in the pressures of football and Argyle's fight against relegation is just another chapter.
The arrival of John Carver as his assistant has helped to keep Paul grounded and he has been delighted with the attitude of his playing staff.
"I don't think I've changed," he said. "I'd like to think I haven't changed but you'd have to ask the players.
"I have more authority but I'm still an easy-going type of bloke. I really enjoy working with John Carver and the players are a joy to work with.
"I've only raised my voice to the team once, at Reading. Other than that the players have been sensational.
"I have been around the game a long time and I've dealt with pressure in my own way. I just try to do the best I can and that's all I can do."
Next up for same old Paul is Saturday's challenging trip to Sheffield United.
