PAUL Mariner is pondering the left-back position for Saturday's meeting with Blackpool at Home Park.
Injury to Chris Barker and Gary Sawyer joining Bristol City on loan has left Argyle's head coach with a big decision to make.
Chris Clark slipped into the role towards the end of Tuesday's win at Ipswich Town and Alan Judge impressed as Clark's midfield replacement.
"We will ponder the issue," said Mariner. "Clarky went back there on Tuesday and did a great job. The players that came on made a tremendous impact.
"When you've got so many strings to your bow, you become a valuable asset to the club. We also had to rearrange last week with [Richard] Eckersley [at Scunthorpe] but the players are extremely professional.
"Alan Judge was as good as he's ever been [at Ipswich] since I've been here and his training yesterday was absolutely first class, so we have got options."
