ARGYLE head coach Paul Mariner is anticipating a fabulous atmosphere for Monday's televised clash with Newcastle United at Home Park.
The Toon Army will arrive in town with the typically fantastic home support for the Champions-in-waiting.
Argyle, meanwhile, face another massive test in the ongoing fight against relegation.
"It is going to be a great atmosphere and I'm hoping that we're going to have a bumper crowd," said Mariner.
"They [Newcastle] will have a massive presence because they come from all over the shop. When we played them in the Cup, it was a great atmosphere.
"Players want to play in those atmospheres - that's what is all about. As a player, you always want to play in the big games.
"If you look at the Tottenham v Arsenal game on Wednesday, it was fantastic for the neutrals. The atmosphere and what was on the game was unbelievable, and players respond to that."
