ROMAIN Larrieu will start between the posts for the first time in over three months for the visit of Peterborough on Sunday.
His last outing for the Pilgrims was in a 1-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace in January and he has been forced to play second fiddle to loan 'keeper David Stockdale since then.
Stockdale has now returned to parent-club Fulham, and Larrieu is considering a new contract offer at Home Park.
"He's a fantastic professional," said head coach Paul Mariner. "His demeanour, his manor, his professionalism is exemplary. He has a very good offer on the table, so it's up to him."
Ahead of the Peterborough game, questions remain as to who will take to the bench as cover for Romain, following a foot injury to young Lloyd Saxton.
The other option is second-year apprentice Ollie Chenoweth, who impressed for the reserves in the midweek defeat at Reading.
"He [Saxton] didn't play on reserve game Monday because of a bruised foot," said Mariner, "He did a little bit of training yesterday but most of his work was behind the goal. I'll have to ask if he did much kicking.
"Ollie did very well on Monday. I'm pleased for the lad because he was thrown in the deep end. I don't think he knew he was playing until he got on the bus, so all credit to him."
