ARGYLE starlet Joe Mason has again been called up by his country.
Forward Joe has been selected for the Republic of Ireland squad for the forthcoming Under-19 European Championship qualifiers.
Mase's fellow teenage Green Sean Kinsella has been put on stand-by for the tournament which is being held in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev.
The qualifiers will see Joe face England, Bosnia and the host nation.
Ireland fly out on May 18, five days after Joe celebrates his 19th birthday, with the tournament lasting until they return on June 1.
The Plymouth-born youngster, who qualifies for Ireland through his mother, has enjoyed a breakthrough season with the Pilgrims.
He made his debut against Sheffield United at Home Park in December and went on to play another 19 times for Argyle, scoring three goals.
Midfielder Sean, 18, has just signed a professional contract with the club after completing his apprenticeship.
Although yet to make his first-team debut, he featured in one Championship squad last season, and travelled with the senior party on several occasions.
Ireland's first match is against England on Wednesday, May 26 at the Obolon Arena, home of Obolon Kiev.
They then play the host nation in Dynamo Kiev's Valeriy Lobanovsky Stadium on Friday, May 28, before finishing off against Bosnia-Herzegovina back at the Obolon Arena on Monday, May 31.
