ARGYLE manager Peter Reid is working hard to add forward options to his squad ahead of Tuesday's transfer deadline.
After a disappointing 3-0 home defeat to Peterborough United, Reid has once again identified the need to bring in strikers.
The sharpness of Peterborough's Craig Mackail-Smith, Arron McClean and George Boyd were an indication of what Reid requires.
"I am actively trying to bring in new people," he said.
"Ideally, I would go out and get a couple of strikers but it is hard work. If you look at their [Peterborough's] strikers, that's why I went with pace at the back.
"McLean, Mackail-Smith and Boyd have pace in abundance. I would like a couple of things but it is hard work getting people in and out in today's climate. Peterborough are not bad at this level and they have some decent players.
"The fans have been great. They stuck with the team again. There were a few moans, which was understandable. They were a few moans from the bench as well."
