NO PANIC

Posted on: Tue 31 Aug 2010

ARGYLE manager Peter Reid is not overly concerned by Argyle's relative inactivity on transfer deadline day.

Although disappointed to have a loan move for a striker fall through, Reid is still actively pursuing a long list of targets.

The loan window for domestic deals reopens on Wednesday, September 8, three days before our next npower League 1 game at Colchester United.

"I have tried to do a lot of things but I haven't been able to do as much as I wanted," said Reid. "Striker is still my main priority and I haven't got one in yet, but we can still do things after eight days.

"I thought I had one tied up but that fell through at the last minute. It was a bit of a blow because it's one that needed to get through as the boy is in Scotland.

"Unfortunately, his club has had a couple of injuries, which has kyboshed that deal. We have still got a list that we are actively working on."
