IN NEED OF GAMES

Posted on: Fri 03 Sep 2010

ARGYLE manager Peter Reid will use next Tuesday's friendly at Newton Abbot Spurs as an opportunity to give some of his peripheral players a game.

The Greens have played only one reserve team game so far this season and Reid is naturally keen to improve match sharpness in his squad.

Newton Abbot Spurs play in Division One East of the South West Peninsula League.

"Matches are always better than training and we have got some players that need a game," said Reid.

"We will have a look at the situation on Monday in terms of who will play."
