LIVELY, LIVELY

Posted on: Fri 03 Sep 2010

THE Argyle squad have now completed an intense week of physical training.

The cancellation of Saturday's fixture with Brighton prompted manager Peter Reid to put the players through their paces before giving them the weekend off.

"The lads have been lively," he said. "We've done a lot of physical work this week because of giving them the weekend off. We've had a really intense couple of days."

While the players rest their aching bodies, Reid will be watching future League 1 opposition over the weekend.

"I'll be at Southampton v Rochdale on Saturday and then watching Sheffield Wednesday at Brentford the next day," said Reid.

The Pilgrims play both Rochdale and Sheffield Wednesday toward the end of September.
