HAVE you got a story to tell?

Argyle Til I Die is an exciting community writing project to create a book about the lives and experiences of Argyle fans.

The book will bring together the stories of Argyle fans of all ages and hopefully get everyone writing.

The Pilgrim Centre at Home Park will form the hub for collecting stories throughout September and October. It is a massive memory-gathering experience not to be missed and a positive representation of supporters' traditions, values and identities.

We want to hear from all fans who have there own stories to tell. It might be;
• The role Argyle played in their childhood
• Argyle romances
• Tragic family moments or memories
• Funny match-day stories
• Eventful journeys to watch Argyle
• Servicemen listening from far afield

The book will be published and on sale in time for Christmas. 600 free copies will be distributed to local schools and libraries strengthening the Football club links with the local community and encouraging new generations of fans.

The proceeds of the book will go towards reading and writing projects in local schools. One of these will be the RIF (reading is fundamental) scheme which aims to enrich lives by providing free books for children and their families. The project is supported by the National Literacy Trust and the football foundation.

If you or anyone you know of, has a story that deserves to go in the book, please get in touch. Stories can be e-mailed to Trevor at Trevor.thepilgrimcentre@yahoo.co.uk or david@legendspublishing.net,
