CLUB captain Romain joined Argyle in 2000 having been released by ASOA Valence in his native France.
Ro became the number one choice between the sticks for the 2001-02 season, which not only saw Argyle win Division Three, but saw 'Le Keeper' named in the PFA Team of the Year, while breaking club and league records for keeping clean sheets.
Ro also played a major part in our Division Two Championship winning season of 2003-04. Celebrating his testimonial this year, Romain is by far the longest serving member of the Argyle squad, and one of the most popular.
Ro is now the Pilgrims first team coach, having taken the step up to assist Carl Fletcher following the departure of Peter Reid in September 2011.
